We are proud to be the only local business with roadworthy spray vehicles that eliminate the need for transportation by trucks or trailers.
This allows our six custom-built spray machines to deliver quick, reliable service while keeping driveways and load-out areas clear. These machines not only spray kiwifruit vines but also treat the soil, enhancing root health for stronger plants. Certified by VTNZ, they can travel at road speeds of up to 90 km/h.
Our commitment to crop protection extends to all our equipment. During the summer months, our high-reaching 4WD truck unit effectively sprays surrounding areas of the orchard, such as gullies and shelter belts, preventing damage from pests like passionvine hoppers and cicadas, as well as fungal threats like sooty mould.

Bay Orchard Sprayers hold Global G.A.P, Location Compliance, NZ Agrichemical Application, and Growsafe Registered Chemical Applicator certificates, and all our staff are individually Growsafe certified. We strictly adhere to the Bay of Plenty Regional Council’s Regional Air Plan and their guide to applying agrichemicals.
We are part of the Agrecovery chemical container recycling programme, and notify neighbouring properties prior to spraying.
